Senior Developer

Looking for an Sr developer to help design and implement enterprise SAAS software.  We want someone who takes pride in his or her work and will take responsibility to help build a great product.  You will also be working extremely close with the product team so design can be done in parallel and we can move quickly.  This position will help set strategy for new product initiatives and be using cutting edge technology to accomplish.  Competitive compensation package, with allowances for performance-based improvements.

Job Responsibilities

• 5+ years of Backend development experience
• 2+ years of Frontend experience
• Must have experience with back-end frameworks such as: Spring, caching
• Must have experience with multiple datastores: MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
• Must have experience in restructuring, re-factoring existing code in Java.
• Must have expertise in writing reusable and performant code.
• Nice to have experience in AI frameworks and cookbooks such as OpenAI, HuggingFace, BedRock
• Strong fundamentals of Object-Oriented programming
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience with distributed programming practices
• Comfortable in a Linux environment
• Experience working in a collaborative working environment
• Expertise with design patterns and knowledge of Test-Driven Development.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Minimum Qualifications

• 7 years of experience selling infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software with exceeding sales goals.
• Experience working with C-level executives to sell against competitors.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 4 years of experience leading projects, and providing technical leadership, and 3 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years development experience overall
• OpenAI or open source AI experience, specifically in generative models 
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
