Senior Data Engineer (AWS NoSQL ETL) Worksop / WFH to £55k

Are you a technologist Data Engineer with a good knowledge of AWS and NoSQL databases?

You could be progressing your career as a Senior Data Engineer at a growing tech company that provide a range of IoT and Data solutions for the Emergency Services.

As a Senior Data Engineer you'll collaborate with the team to design and implement scalable and robust data architectures, develop and maintain ETL data pipelines for efficient integration of diverse data sources, manage and optimise databases to store, retrieve and analyse large volumes of data and create and maintain data models that align with business requirements, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of data. You will also help transition to a more modern AWS Lambda environment (currently hybrid with Data Centres), designing and managing efficient data infrastructures.

Location / WFH:

There's a remote first policy with the caveat that you'll meet up with the team once a month in Worksop.

About you:

You have experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on designing and implementing data solutions
You have AWS experience
You have a good knowledge of NoSQL databases, MySQL preferred
You have strong data modelling skills and can design efficient data architectures
You can code with Python, Java or Scala
You're a collaborative and pragmatic communicator with great communication skills
