Lumin Digital is seeking a creative, collaborative, and motivated senior copywriter. The person in this role will be responsible for drafting original copy and editing existing content in support of Lumin’s content strategy, external comms / PR efforts, brand, and demand generation programs. Types of content could include a mix of thought leadership, white papers, blogs, social posts, and video scripts and assets to be used in outcome-based marketing campaigns. This role is on a small, virtual team; candidates must be comfortable working in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
Write original copy and work with SMEs to refine clear, engaging copy for executive, brand, and, outcome-based marketing awareness and demand campaigns including touchpoints like:
- Articles
- White papers
- Blogs
- Storyboards (webinars and/or speaking engagements, video scripts)
- Social content
Collaborate with content, lifecycle marketing, and external comms /media relations teams.
Collaborate with creative services to publish content on channels.
Edit and proofread copy, ensure accuracy before publication.
Use SEO principles to maximize the copy’s reach.
Develop a broad understanding of Lumin’s businesses, products, research, technology, and best practices.
Serve as a champion for and guardian of the Lumin brand voice and writing style.
Requirements:
Experience with B2B marketing and/or B2B SaaS fintech industry, or banking technology
10+ years of applicable writing experience in either a corporate, agency, or news environment
Experience working with, interviewing, and writing for executives
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Writing samples from previous roles that demonstrate creative writing and conceptual thinking
Excellent interpersonal skills; adaptable and able to work on multiple projects and collaborate with numerous people simultaneously
Ability to organize and complete detailed projects accurately and deliver on deadlines
Ability to express ideas with a positive attitude and interact effectively with marketing team members and business leaders
Ability to work as part of a team, fostering collaboration and cultivating relationships, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or related field
