Operating globally, Pixl8 Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our product solutions team.
As a Senior Consultant, your core accountabilities are as follows:
- Be a product expert
- Eliciting client objectives and requirements
- Provide, own, influence, and communicate solutions (and costs)
You help deliver successful projects and foster best consultancy practise and product use, whilst also supporting our Customer Success objectives including:
- Empowering clients to continuously get the most out of their application
- Nurturing a partnering mindset with clients to provide fantastic customer experience
- Ensuring clients are engaged and knowledgeable
It would be beneficial if you have worked in other technology product organisations whilst highly desirable that you have practical experience of digital transformation, discovery, and implementation processes. You will be familiar with a range of technologies including CMS and CRM or event management software.
The Role
As a Senior Consultant, you are a product expert and play a vital role in gathering the requirements and leading the work definition for given projects. As well as being client-facing, you will be working predominantly with sales and project managers on commercials, and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) on solutions, whilst also working with the Product Solutions team on high-quality delivery and prioritisation.
Knowledge and detail are key in this role — running workshops, gathering requirements, defining work, influencing, and communicating solutions.
You’ll maintain a close relationship with the product team to be abreast of the product roadmap and release playbacks.
You will also be responsible for expanding the usage of our products and services through the guidance and recommendations you give to clients and understanding their business needs to deliver impactful business outcomes
Your experience and ideas for improving processes and delivery will be fed into overall working practices supporting Pixl8’s continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities
- Involvement in all phases of the project lifecycle and ongoing client work
- Lead the client through discovery sessions and workshops
- Understand your client’s business and their objectives
- Capture client requirements and objectives (without initially offering implementation or solutions)
- Scoping and production of a well-designed and documented custom scope solution that captures outputs from discovery sessions and workshops
- Identify business/project risks and communicate these to the project manager
- Deliver client playbacks and support relevant training to clients for all aspects of the custom solution and Pixl8’s product offering
- Awareness and coordination of all solutions across the project (eg. if other Consultants are involved, the nominated Senior Consultant on the project effectively leads and owns the overall solution))
- Ownership of commercials on non-product customisations
- Sign off on any change requests that are deviations from original scope
- Defining custom requirements using (JIRA) tasks or users stories and acceptance criteria
- Briefing requirements to (internal) delivery and support teams
- Be a product expert (develop and maintain product expertise)
- Deliver added-value consultancy services that improve client business outcomes
- Shape and support the development of best-practise consultancy at Pixl8
- Train, mentor & guide CSMs (who act as Junior Consultants)
- Apply product knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues
- Identify product or process improvements for efficiency and scalability
- Work with the wider consultancy team to inform and develop user stories for new product developments
- Work with Solutions team lead to ensure alignment and delivery of strategic and commercial objectives
- Work with the Support and Delivery teams to triage and cost new change requests and coordinate customer issues in a timely manner
- Feed into success stories with the Sales & Marketing team
- Empowering clients to continuously get the most out of their application through their ongoing digital roadmap development
- Nurturing a partnering mindset with clients to provide fantastic customer experience
- Communicate, negotiate and influence effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
- Provide client insights, product feedback and trending issues to internal teams
- Identify and leverage opportunities to provide clients with additional consultancy services that augment their business transformation outcomes
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in a Consultancy, Business Analyst, Account Management, Customer Success, Relationship Management or similar role (preferably in a Technology/SaaS environment)
- Well-versed in Digital platforms including CMS, CRM, and event tech
- Expertise in digital transformation, and use of tools (e.g. Miro) and best practice techniques (e.g. user experience, design thinking, experience mapping, wire flows ) to support role success
- Ability to navigate complexity and grasp new concepts and systems
- Aptitude for building and maintaining thriving and sustainable relationships
- Exceptional communicator and listener (verbal, written and presentation)
- Ability to support clients with collating objectives and setting goals (and prioritise)
- Organised, collaborative, and commercially aware
- Fast learner and willing to assume additional responsibilities as needed
- High level of initiative with a creative perspective to problem solving
- Able to multi-task with a strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of associations and member-based organisations (preferred)
- Experience of managing and setting budgets (desirable but not essential)
- Experience working in a digital agency or consultancy (desirable but not essential)
- Experience of working with technical development teams
