Location: We are remote-first. This role can be based in most states in the US. 

The Opportunity 

Mosaic is looking for a Senior Commercial Collections Specialist to join our Commercial Receivables team. The group is tasked with collecting money owed by contractors who canceled their solar or home improvement projects but haven’t returned funds related to those projects back to Mosaic. This position is responsible for executing and collaborating with their manager on continuously improving high performing collection strategies for commercial receivables.

Core Responsibilities: 

• Execute collection and recovery processes for outstanding contractor receivables, partnering with internal teams to get the information you need to negotiate effectively
• Directly interact with contractors to collect outstanding receivables using a mix of channels including telephone, SMS, and email
• Collaborate with your manager to design a prioritized strategy for segmenting receivables to collect the maximum amount of dollars
• Ensure timely and accurate follow-up on on open aging accounts based on documented timelines
• Research, communicate, and escalate as needed all invoice disputes in a timely and effective process
• Utilize skip tracing tools to find the best point of contact at contractors and employ various channels (phone calls, SMS, email) to make contact
• Consistently meet or exceed personal and departmental quality and productivity standards

Experience & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in commercial collections (3-5 years)
• Demonstrated experience in Financial Services with focus on Collections (commercial asset recovery is ideal)
• Experience working with 3rd Party collections agencies to collect receivables, preferably commercial receivables
• Strong background in utilizing metrics and analytics to drive collections and recoveries activities
• Proficient in Collections Processes & Regulations
• Experience with Solar or Home Improvement contractors is a plus 

Bonus Points

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment highly preferred; FinTech experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Excel, DocuSign, Google Suite, Periscope, Tableau 

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $55,000-$75,000. The position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the applicable commission or incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
