Our systems are built around eCommerce, tracking orders, order placement, returns, and inventory and search. We're proud of our best-in-class tooling that includes a GraphQL API, a gRPC backend system, and Node.js services.
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our fully remote team.
Develop features and build infrastructure to integrate with external platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce
Build and maintain high-quality APIs for eCommerce, focusing on tracking orders, order placement, returns, and search engines
Stand up new infrastructure on GCP
Write high-quality documentation for developers
Deliver large projects end to end, coordinating features across team members and systems
Communicate updates proactively
Work independently and with a remote-first team
5+ years of experience in backend engineering
Proficiency in Typescript and Node.js
Experience building systems with a GraphQL API and a gRPC backend system
Strong understanding of best practices in software development and engineering
Experience working with external platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
Good technical writer
