Senior Azure and M365 Cloud Engineer - Eastern Timezone

You will:

• Design, plan and implement Azure and M365 cloud solutions for new clients, with a high emphasis on automated and reusable deployments
• Act as an escalation point for Managed Service engineers, including vendor escalation
• Proactively look for opportunities to improve the design and implementation of public cloud solutions
• Keep abreast of emerging cloud technologies and help evaluate cloud-native and other vendor offerings to determine the best fit for business needs
• Work as a part of a dynamic and motivated team of cloud engineers and architects

Requirements

Essential:

• 4+ years Azure and M365 environment provisioning and support experience
• Have worked with Virtual Machines, Availability Sets, Storage Accounts, and Azure Site Recovery
• Have worked with Virtual Networks, Virtual WANs, and ExpressRoute
• Azure AD experience
• M365 configuration and set-up (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune (MAM/MDM), Conditional Access and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint)
• Experience with migrations to public cloud projects (email, documents, applications, servers, etc.)
• Configuration management
• High standard of written documentation
• Good general working knowledge of the public cloud landscape and why businesses use them

Great if you have:

• Experience with Azure Information Protection, Application Gateways, Firewall, and DDoS Protection
• Automation experience using Terraform and PowerShell
• Azure SQL experience
• Windows Virtual Desktop Deployment experience
• Experienced with container technologies and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) and Azure DevOps
