POSITION SUMMARY: REMOTE POSITION
The Senior Associate, AWS Cloud Systems Administrator is responsible for administration of BAYADA Home Health Care systems, software, and database resources. The Senior Associate is responsible for varied support services duties including but not limited to the creation of work plans, preparation of reports, analysis of data and metrics, presentation of findings, and the provision of administrative and project support. In addition to working autonomously, this position is differentiated from the Senior Associate, Systems Analyst role through a demonstration of one or more of the following: subject matter expertise, ownership and accountability for complex assignments, and the ability to work in a supervisory capacity leading, coaching, and training others. It is a midlevel technical track position and will offer training and continuing education to support a career in technical management and leadership within BAYADA.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Four (4) year college degree.
- Three (3) to five (5) years successful experience in a related field.
- Proficient in basic business software applications required to perform job functions and able to learn new technologies, software, and technical methodologies.
- Technical competence in two (2) or more applicable technologies with one (1) or more certification(s).
- Possesses effective project management skills including the ability to facilitate and organize.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Embraces the organization’s entrepreneurial spirit through the recognition and capitalization of opportunities and a healthy challenge of the status quo.
- Demonstrates well-developed presentation skills.
- Solid record of goal achievement and exceeds performance standards.
PREFFERED SKILLS:
- Minimum of 3-7 years AWS experience with relevant certification is required,
- Bachelor's / associate degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and technologies.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, lambda) for automation tasks.
- Understanding of AWS networking concepts and security best practices in AWS.
- Experience with Network and Infrastructure technologies windows server and services AD, IIS DHCP, DNS, PowerShell, etc. VMware, Storage, backups and more.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of 3rd party storage and firewall solutions is desired
- Prior health care and home care experience is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to arrange information and files in a useful manner.
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.
- Develop working knowledge of BAYADA mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures.
- Create and manage policies, practices, standards, and procedures related to BAYADA IT systems and services, as applicable.
- Provide day-to-day operational management support of the office’s routine work plan or special projects.
- Formulate strategies to ensure successful completion of the office’s routine work plan or special projects, and revise the information to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Coordinate logistics of change control and/or notification of incidents and events.
- Perform general and routine administration such as installation, maintenance, monitoring, configuration, recovery and updates to applicable technologies.
- Perform research, analysis, and resolution of problems to effectively meet established service levels and performance metrics.
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
- Maintain office and system metrics and associated reports.
- Provide backup support for routine support questions.
- Support the team (office and company) and provide back up as needed.
- Research complex information through the compilation of statistics, analysis of data and summarization of information for review.
- Participate in special projects: prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc…).
- Draft and distribute professional correspondence and announcements (including the publication of newsworthy information in the BAYADA Bulletin).
- Support annual audits and compliance reviews, as needed.
- Learn various aspects of organization through technology training, hands-on learning, cross-training and site visits.
- Maintain office(s) organization charts and associated email and call lists.
- Maintain understanding of company’s organizational structure, financial status, and operational goals/objectives.
- Demonstrate an increased level of technical, mathematical, or scientific skill.
- Progressively assume additional responsibilities as needed.
- Analyze and identify the resources required to complete the office’s routine work plan or special projects.
- Conduct behavior in a professional manner.
- Require on-call availability and require working during non-business hours and on weekends, as needed.
- Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
