We are a seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team! This role will be the first full-time dedicated accountant and will be instrumental in overseeing our financial operations and preparing us for a period of significant growth. In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, a CPA qualification, and a background working in the manufacturing industry. This role will collaborate closely with the CEO and outsourced CFO to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

The Role
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation and cost control
  • Handle complex accounting matters related to landed costs and warranties
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and safeguard company assets
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive process improvements and scalability in financial operations to support company growth
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
  • Experience with Netsuite ERP, particularly in a manufacturing setting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data for strategic decision-making
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges in a dynamic setting

The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per year and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.  Position also includes stock options that are subject to vesting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, skills, and location.
