Tasks
- Develop, refine, and consistently implement accounting methodologies.
- Oversee and collaborate with external accounting teams on various financial functions, including:
- Financial forecasting and risk analysis
- Oversight of accounts and tax return management
- Payroll administration and expenditure control
- Compilation and presentation of reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries, and financial statements
- In-depth analysis of accounts and business plans
- Providing tax planning services in compliance with current legislation
- Management of the annual audit process.
- Prepare consolidated financial reports for Lykke Group quarterly.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Lykke Group's accounting matters.
- Streamline financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Effectively communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the financial team, fostering professional growth and excellence.
- Responsible for the implementation and ongoing development of processes and accounting principles.
- Overall responsibility for group monthly/annual closing process - consolidation, analysis and reporting under Swiss GAAP.
- Present and comment on monthly reporting with high-level senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Solid background in accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Big 4 or second-tier consulting firm experience is a plus.
- Experience in reporting and consolidation under Swiss GAAP.
- Understanding and experience of group-wide projects.
- Analytical, structured and strong problem-solving mindset.
- Profound understanding of the cryptocurrency and digital asset domain, including legal and regulatory considerations.
- Knowledge and experience in IFRS and GAAP accounting standards and regulatory filings in financial services. Experience in the United Kingdom and Switzerland is a plus.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent are advantageous.
- Knowledge of the Swiss private and business taxation system is advantageous.
- Experience in managing external accounting firms in all jurisdictions of the Group’s activities.
- Experience in risk management and compliance, especially in AML/CFT, is a Plus.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in German is an additional asset.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a creative problem-solving approach.
