Sales at Polar Analytics:
  • We currently secure 70% of sales through robust Inbound Marketing

  • Deal Size: $16k+ contract value (Our average is $6K+)

  • Close rate (Trial to Paid): 35/40%

  • Sales cycle: 20-35 days from lead to closing (3-8 touches)

  • Ideal Customer Profile: CMO / E-commerce manager of a $10M-$100M DTC brand on Shopify, seeking rapid growth

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively Convert high-value leads into trial users, utilizing advanced sales techniques and relationship management skills.

  • Conduct thorough product discovery and onboarding calls with prospective brands showing interest in Polar Analytics

  • Foster strong, enduring relationships with key stakeholders within marketing and eCommerce teams, from end-users to decision-making executives

  • Excel at handling and overcoming objections in a way that turns challenges into opportunities for further engagement.

  • Amplify the close rate of trial users by deeply understanding and empathizing with their needs, and aligning these objectives with the benefits of Polar

  • Demonstrate full autonomy and decision-making capabilities

  • Expertly negotiate contracts and deals, ensuring the best outcomes for Polar.

  • Champion customer needs, relaying requirements or feature requests internally to shape our product roadmap

Our Hiring Process 📝


We follow a structured hiring process to ensure fairness and transparency. Our process may vary depending on the role, but this is what you can expect after you apply:

 

1. Recruiter Screen (30 mins): A call with our Head of Talent to talk through your current/past experience, your motivations and Tell you more about Polar Analytics.

2. Technical Fit (45 mins): Here, you'll meet either the Hiring Manager or a team member of a similar level to discuss your ways of working and understand your skillset and ability for the role.

3. Technical Deep Dive (1 hour): This interview usually consists of a practical element (case study, Presentation, Technical Problem Solving etc) designed to give you a broader understanding of how we drive impact at Polar. This will be with the hiring manager and one other team member.

4. Culture Interview (45 mins): A conversation with one of our Culture Champions. We assess your team fit based on our values (see below).
