As our Sales Manager, you'll be at the helm, steering our sales teams towards unprecedented success and playing a pivotal role in achieving our ambitious growth targets and contributing to our mission. 📈
What You'll Do...
Lead and Inspire 🚀
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the sales team to deliver extraordinary results, embodying our values of Motivated by Change, Work as a Team, and Put Customers First. 💚
- Manage the US and UK sales teams, driving them to achieve new business targets.
- Cultivate a collaborative and positive team culture where creativity, accountability, and respect flourish.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and assistance to your team helping develop their own growth and effectiveness.
Sales Management 🤑
- Oversee and manage Gecko’s sales pipeline, continuously challenging and refining the sales process for innovation and efficiency.
- Manage opportunity management, reporting, and planning, ensuring each salesperson has a clear plan.
- Assess individual sales performance using data, CRM reports, and observation, suggesting changes as needed.
- Work with the Exec Team on sales goals and quotas.
- Build a comprehensive sales playbook to guide the team's actions and decisions for success.
Development & Market Exploration 🧭
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with clients and understanding their needs.
- Explore larger sales opportunities to more senior stakeholders in HigherEd, showcasing ambition and drive.
- Identify market shifts, staying fully aware of new products and the competitive landscape.
Who We're Looking For 🔭
- Pro at leading sales squads with a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Sales forecasting, customer-need assessment and pricing of deals.
- Ability to drive and manage the sales process from opp to close.
- Customer-first mindset.
- HigherEd/Tech/SaaS experience is desirable.
- Commitment to continuous education and professional development.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes, embrace new opportunities, and navigate evolving market landscapes.
