Sales Manager

DoubleCloud are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Growth and Onboarding team and help grow the business right across Brazil. You should be passionate about solving large and complex data challenges. You'll be doing this for some of the most innovative companies in the world, engineering solutions that use data in ways never tried before. The job can be performed either on-site, hybrid or remotely.

DoubleCloud are the creators of the first-ever managed ClickHouse service, currently servicing over 500 customers.

We're proud that our engineers are, and have always been, significant contributors to leading open-source technologies such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Odyssey, WAL-G, and many, many others.  

Since 2021, we've worked with over a hundred companies to help crunch their analytics with industry-leading data tools such as Clickhouse, BigQuery, Redshift, MySQL, Postgres and Kafka. 

As a result, we've created a cutting-edge data platform that offers businesses a fully managed, end-to-end modern data stack with real-time analytics all built on open-source technologies such as Clickhouse, Kafka, etc.

DoubleClouds proprietary platform empowers data engineers to focus on what they love… building awesome solutions… instead of having to waste time on repetitive tasks related to scaling demand up or down, installing updates, deploying additional software and all the other boring but necessary admin that comes with data technologies.

DoubleCloud is an early-stage startup, incorporated in Germany (Berlin) and the USA (Boston) with over 70 people as of today, but the team is growing fast and we want you to be a part of that growth!

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be crucial in helping us build our presence in the Brazil.
  • Together with our Solutions Architects and Marketing team, you'll be responsible for both outbound and inbound activities, helping build a robust pipeline of customers, with the goal of onboarding them to the DoubleCloud Platform.
  • You'll help our prospects discover the value of the DoubleCloud platform, nurture them through their first few weeks to encourage adoption and create a ‘buzz' to encourage recommendations within the community. 
  • You'll provide feedback from the market about the DoubleCloud platform to the Product and BD teams as well as have a direct impact on the roadmap and future partnerships.
  • You'll participate in events, evangelizing DoubleCloud to the market.

What we expect from you:

  • Self-motivated and a good communicator
  • Sales, SDR or BDR experience in high-growth product-driven companies OR sales solutions engineering experience 
  • Experienced in selling to ISVs, startups, and mid-sized companies and having a network in relevant markets (MarTech, AdTech, Gaming, E-commerce, media and security)
  • Experienced in driving adoption up-take and consumption of SaaS products 
  • Passion for big data and the value a great data platform generates for companies and their data engineers 
  • Fluent in English… any other European language is a plus. 
  • Ability to talk to customers at any decision-making level

Some nice-to-haves include:

  • MEDDIC familiarity
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or data PaaS and modern data stack.
  • Fast learner who's ready for the uncertainty of a startup world.
