Sales Development Representative

Purpose Statement  

At sa.global, we know that the key to growth is a high-performing sales team. That's why we are seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our Microsoft products and services.  

Position Overview 

sa.global is looking for a driven SDR to accelerate our growth by identifying new sales opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clients in their digital transformation. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up Business Development Managers (BDMs) to successfully close deals. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong and effective communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer has an opportunity to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. Skills and Experience 

The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You have experience managing a team and making dozens of calls per day, working with partners, scheduling meetings, generating leads, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales. 

Objectives 

  • Represent the company's products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs to fuel their digital transformation 
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities 
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in next steps 
  • Identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation strategies 

Responsibilities, Skills, and Experience 

  • Utilize Microsoft CRM, 6Sense, LinkedIn, Zoominfo, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities 
  • Identify the business needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services to match 
  • Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information 
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities 
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market 
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and BDMs 
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to Sales Manager 
  • Identify customer's buying trends and provide reports to management 
  • Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities 
  • Excellent team player collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and beyond 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
