Sales Development Representative (Inside Sales)

We are seeking dynamic and driven professionals with innate sales instincts, robust technical aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about career advancement, naturally curious, and passionately motivated self-starters. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a pivotal role in researching prospective customers, devising outreach strategies, delivering immediate and high-quality interactions, and identifying sales opportunities. Your responsibilities include taking detailed notes, leveraging business acumen to showcase how Intellum can foster business growth, and effectively positioning Intellum’s value proposition.

Sales Pipeline Cultivation:

  • Monitor all inbound channels.
  • Proactively respond to leads.
  • Assign leads to sales reps based on territory definitions.

Prospective Customer Qualification:

  • Qualify customers for timing, budget, and overall fit with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

 Initial Customer Introduction:

  • Own the initial introduction with prospective customers.
  • Convert leads into sales opportunities.

 Service Level Agreements (SLAs):

  • Meet SLAs for moving leads rapidly through the marketing funnel.
  • Identify areas of friction and recommend process improvements.

 Product Knowledge:

  • Articulate and understand the breadth of Intellum’s product offerings.

 Objection Handling:

  • Understand objections and turn skeptics into potential customers.

 Database Management:

  • Maintain and expand the database of prospective customers.

 Collaboration with Marketing:

  • Strategically partner with Marketing to create new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • One to two years of sales experience or a strong desire to begin a career in sales.
  • Consistent track record of high achievement.
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills (phone, email, webinar).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Process-oriented and metric-driven.
  • Desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals in a team environment.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, actively seeking opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • Proven ability to make strong connections and overcome rejection to achieve results.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Occasional irregular work hours
  • Occasional travel for team meetings and company events, estimated at no more than 6-trips per year
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, etc.
  • Extended time viewing a computer monitor
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
