Spiff is looking for a Sales Development Manager to join our SDR team. We are looking for someone with experience leading Sales Development Teams with a focus on hitting goals. The ideal candidate will also have experience hiring, onboarding and a continuous focus to improve the skills of the sales development reps on the team. The Sales Development Manager will also work closely with sales development leadership, marketing and sales teams to build a strong partnership with a focus on generating qualified opportunities and pipeline for Spiff. As a Sales Development Manager at Spiff you will:
Lead and develop your team to deliver top quality sales pipeline opportunities and to complete sales development processes as appropriate.
Carry and drive to qualified meetings and pipeline quota for your team on a monthly basis
Partner with management to drive strategic direction and alignment with partners in the sales and marketing organizations.
Partner with marketing to ensure system capabilities are streamlined and drive enhancements/efficiencies where required.
Lead the mid-market sales development team with prospecting, outbound calling and other written communication towards potential Spiff buyers
Work with Marketing and Sales Operations to implement and follow effective processes, and to ensure proper completion of required documentation and process by the team.
Responsible for organizing and onboarding new hires with training as well as continued training for internal and external teams.
Responsible for reporting and communicating to sales development management on forecasts, KPI’s, and Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews and overall program and team performance.
What you need to succeed:
Passion, Grit and a desire to WIN!
2-5 years of sales development leadership experience, previously an SDR carrying a quota
Develop a “Best in Class” Sales Development team that exceeds targets
Strong leader who is self-motivated and able to develop team members
Ability to identify key trends in winning employees and replicate success across the group
Strong understanding of Business-to-Business customer buying cycles and how to penetrate organizations
Strong organization and communication skills
Strong management and interpersonal skills
Drive consistent lead/meeting qualification increasing overall sales development pipeline
Strong team orientation and ability to build cross-functional relationships
Focus on career development of individual team members, helping position them for career advancement
Ability to innovate within a growing business unit
Understanding of typical SDR team tools (SFDC, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, etc)
