Your Mission
We are looking for a Regional HR Lead - CEE & Latam to join the People team at BlaBlaCar. Their mission is to understand, advise and support the business and its people, ensuring alignment between the business needs and the People team’s actions. As Regional HR Lead, your role will be to help leadership drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement in your region. You will partner with leadership & central functions to develop and implement HR policies and initiatives that support the success of your region and oversee the people operations team in the region. You will be reporting to Amaelle Richaud, VP People Partners.
Your responsibilities
- Act as the Functional HRBP for the core local team in your region:
- Partner with people experts and business leaders in the organization to drive organizational effectiveness and roll out key People programs (including goal setting, performance evaluations, promo assessments, headcount planning, comp reviews & bonus planning, engagement surveys, etc)
- Advise, coach & support managers in the region (incl. employer relations, low perf, etc)
- Act as the Regional HR leader in your region (CEE & Latam):
- Monitor overall employee’s satisfaction and engagement in your region and partner with functional HRBPs, central people teams and regional leadership to inform and drive people strategy, initiatives and budget in the region
- Monitor changes in the talent market and employment practices and partner with functional HRBPs, central teams and your local HR teams to localize practices and initiatives
- Serve as the employer relations expert in your region, providing advice and support to functional HRBPs and managers
- Establish consistent, effective and compliant HR practices and processes across the region and drive delivery through your team
Your qualifications
- 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in HR operations and HRBP-type roles, with ideally 2-3 years leading HR in an international and fast-paced environment
- Experience managing HR in Latam and/or Central & Eastern Europe
- Strong leadership skills and business acumen
- Thriving in a collaborative, fast-growing and innovative environment
- Ability to take ownership, aligned with business priorities
- Full working proficiency in English
- Nice to have: Full working proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, Polish, or Ukrainian, startup experience
