Job title: Recruitment + Outreach Manager- - Veteran Career Training Startup

Location: Louisville, KY, or Los Angeles, CA (preferred) remote work/home office ok

Compensation: $65k-75k/yr (W2) + full medical /dental benefits

Why this role exists

As a Recruitment & Outreach Manager, preferably with a military background, you will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of recruitment processes, and a proven track record in placing candidates in a variety of roles. Additionally, you will support the management of corporate placement partnerships.

Required:

  • Strong understanding of the veteran talent pool.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a placement specialist, recruitment consultant, or staffing professional.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work occasional extended hours beyond M-F 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (only during peak heavy registration, in rare case a student can’t meet during business hours)

Preferred:

  • Veteran status preferred (honorable discharge)

Outcomes:

  • You will build and maintain a network of current and potential corporate partners to hire EagleCorps’ graduates.

  • You will coordinate interviews and assess candidate qualifications and fit for partner organizations.

  • You will develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to place graduates.

  • You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs.

  • You will manage the hiring process from start to finish, including assisting in negotiating job offers.

  • You will maintain fluency in the latest recruitment trends and best practices to ensure we are providing the best possible service to our veteran candidates and clients.

Skills:

  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.

  • Strong interpersonal communicator and have the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Use of computerized systems and databases.

  • Ability to evaluate student resumes.

  • Experienced with current and emerging technologies related to recruitment.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk.

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/your home office work environment.
