Recruiter for Preschool / Daycare
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter. The successful candidate will screen, interview, and assist in the hiring of childcare teachers and managers for 20+ school locations.
This position is located at our headquarters in Greenville, SC -OR- can be performed virtually.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with preschools to source and pre-screen qualified candidates, based on state licensing position requirements.
- Reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Conducts phone screenings and virtual interviews; participates in virtual hiring events.
- Maintains prompt and thorough communication with candidates and directors.
- Builds strong, productive relationships with center directors and regional directors.
- Provides guidance to center directors to more effectively screen, interview, and select candidates.
- Proactively recruits for critical or difficult-to-fill positions, including through resume subscription services, Handshake, LinkedIn, social media, campus, networking, and referrals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare, daycare or preschool greatly preferred.
- Minimum of two years of recruiting experience in a high-volume, multi-site environment.
- Experience working in applicant tracking systems; Workable experience a plus.
- Extremely detailed and well organized with excellent communication skills.
- Strong interviewing and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding and use of sourcing techniques and tools, including Indeed.
- Self-motivated; must have ability to work without supervision.
