The Quality Assurance Technician (QAT) will be responsible for the creation of employee training and contracted driver orientation to customer and regulatory requirements. The QAT will also be responsible for creating reports & developing analysis related to the Quality program. QAT will assist in maintaining accurate records, scheduling orientation and/or training updates as needed on a variety of topics.

Individual tasks shall include but not be limited to the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the applicable contracted driver orientation and/or employee training related to customer and regulatory requirements. Work cross functionally with HR, Quality, Operations, as well as the customer when needed, to ensure the accuracy and validity of the information presented.Be available to speak with contracted drivers and/or employees in regard to any nonconformances around shipments and to obtain information required to conduct an effective root cause analysis. To effectively communicate industry expectations/requirements and answer any questions.Become familiar with ISO 9001:2015 and develop statistical reports through the use of data analysis, tracking, trending and other tools as needed for areas of required reporting.Develop and maintain software validation documentation for E-Courier. Maintain information in Quality Management System (QMS). Assist Quality Team with analysis of issues of all types, conduct root cause analysis, recommend/facilitate solutions as needed based on analysis of quality failures during shipments/internal audits/etc. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of field operations teams and customer standards, working closely with operations and account management to understand customer requirements.Collaborate with all functions/departments to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions.Prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Understand E-Courier and have knowledge of basic reporting functions that can be developed to help track and trend issues found during shipments and develop solutions and best practices to eliminate items that do not meet USPack or customer objectives.Create initiatives that promote and develop a culture of quality in the business.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of the independent contractor business model is preferred.Ability to summarize and present information.Ability to learn and understand the E-Courier/EC-Mobile and the ability to pull reports containing data captured in these applications.Maintain knowledge Industry standards, requirements, and expectations around Life Sciences such as the 21CFR, PDA (i.e. Parental Drug Association Technical Report 64) cGMP requirements.Knowledge of quality system requirements. Well organized and highly detailed with a flexible attitude to be able to prioritize, manage a variety of functions, and maneuver between tasks, including the ability to manage deadline pressure. Strong communicator in all media forms with the ability to communicate in group settings, or individually, at all levels of the company. Public Speaking ability.Proven problem-solving skills. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Notebook) with ability to compile spreadsheets, ability to draft presentations, and ability to create meaningful and concise communications. Must maintain a valid driver’s license. Ability to travel (approximately 25%) within business network as needed.Qualifications - Education, Experience, Certificates, and Licenses:
Bachelor’s Degree Previous experience in the logistics/supply chain industry is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience working with independent contractors (1099) in the same day/final mile space, and/or understanding of shipments including medical supplies, laboratory specimens and the life cycle niche.Basic understanding of “Quality” around business and why it’s essential.Previous experience building orientation/training is desired but not a must.Previous experience building and compiling reports is desired but not a must.Shift Days: Monday-Friday
Shift Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM (Available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays preferred.)
Pay Rate: up to $60,000 salaried (Dependent upon experience level.)
Work Location: Remote
Travel: On occasion as needed up to 25%
