Quality Assurance Support Analyst

If you have a passion for functional software testing our QA Support Analyst job might be the right fit for you. The QA Support Analyst will perform weekend functional testing of Traffic Systems for one of our existing customers. You will test end-user facing software upgrades/updates and bug fixes. There will be growth opportunities and ability to be part of our wonderful Subject Matter Experts team who supports our customers.

Location: Remote
Work Arrangement: 1099 Hourly Contract
Work Authorization: GC/USCIT/EAD/OPT Only. We Do Not Sponsor H1B Visas, or C2C

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed testing of upgrades and updates of specific features or bug fixes prior to releasing the software to end users.
• Follow existing functional test scripts and log results.
• If issues are found during testing, escalate these and make recommendations on whether to deploy the software to customer and internal management.
• After testing, complete compliance and test reports within the timeline defined in coordination with the customer.

Requirements:

• Must be willing to work weekends during system downtime (late evenings or early mornings -4 hour shifts minimum) on a rotational basis.
• Attention to detail and proven ability to quickly learn software are a must.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills including communicating in a timely and articulate manner via phone and email.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Information technology or equivalent experience recommended but not required. College students looking for an internship will be considered.
• Ad Media Traffic system experience a plus, but not required.
