Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to strengthen our quality assurance capabilities.

Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the quality and efficiency of our operations, with a specific focus on Boon-Group. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality control processes, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance and Oversight:
  • Assist in developing and implementing quality control measures for customer service operations to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer interactions, providing feedback to help improve service quality.
  • Support quality assurance activities for Boon-Group operations, including policy administration, claims processing, and underwriting.
  • Help maintain quality metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Assist in assessing and refining quality control processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and contribute to improvements.
  • Training and Development:
    • Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness within the organization.
    • Participate in cross-training to ensure continuity and coverage when other quality assurance team members are on leave or vacation.
  • Collaboration Between Learning & Development and Quality Assurance:
    • Work closely with Learning & Development to ensure a seamless connection between training and quality assurance efforts.
    • Assist in reporting to Learning & Development if team members struggle with quality reviews.
    • Support Learning & Development specialists in providing additional coaching to enhance quality.

    Eligibility:

    • Candidates must have a consistently strong performance history without any instances of being on a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) within the last 12 months.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Insurance, Quality Management) or relevant experience. 
    • A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in quality assurance.
    • Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably in the insurance industry.
    • Strong understanding of Boon-Group processes, customer service operations, and insurance products.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills.

    Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
