Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their growing team: a homeware e-commerce brand.


In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our client's digital products, primarily focusing on our websites across the portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and project management, to maintain the highest quality standards and enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Testing: Conduct thorough testing of our websites, including functionality, usability, compatibility, and performance across various browsers, devices, and operating systems.

  • Quality Control: Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.

  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been successfully addressed without introducing new problems.

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute UAT, ensuring that digital products meet user requirements and expectations.

  • Issue Tracking: Use issue tracking and project management tools to log, prioritize, and monitor the progress of defect resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Having prior experience with manual testing. In a DTC / eCommerce environment is a plus.

  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and best practices for digital products.

  • Advanced English - written and spoken.

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.

  • Proficiency in using testing and issue tracking tools - ideally experience using ClickUp.

  • Experience with test automation tools is a plus.

  • Flexibility to work full-time hours within a 9 AM EST  to 6 PM EST timeframe.
