Your Part in Our Mission
Joining our QA team as a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for qualifying products and features developed by cross functional teams; developing test plans and test cases mapping to product requirements; documenting end user scenarios; detecting and reporting issues; participating in triaging defects; and preparing test reports and release readiness reports. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong attention to detail, a passion for perfection, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while working in a cross-functional team. You love achieving and maintaining the highest level of quality, and are passionate about improving developer productivity through continuous integration, deployment, and testing. What You’ll Be Doing
Gain knowledge in Tinybeans applications and processes
Under the guidance of the QA Lead, create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases mapping to product requirements and technical implementations
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Assist in logging bugs in the JIRA ticketing system, providing clear and comprehensive documentation, and supporting screenshots to aid in issue resolution.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
Collaborate and help establish QA process best practice
Participate in all sprint ceremonies sharing concise and clear updates on QA project status
Collaborate closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Customer Support to test both new features and regression suites
Assist in the design, development and execution of automation scripts using open source tools

4 - 6 years experience in quality assurance for app-based products
Have a passion for perfection and a strong attention to detail
Enjoy learning new technologies and testing strategies, and are constantly looking for new challenges
Strive to not only meet, but exceed our end users’ expectations
Proven work experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience testing both frontend and backend, mobile and web applications
Able to work closely with the development team to optimize existing, and implement innovative, CI, CD, and CT processes
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Location & Hours
This position is open to candidates in the U.S., LATAM, Canada.
The broader team is based in North America with a concentration on the East Coast. This role will require at least 5 hours overlapping business hours of 9a-6p EST and hours/days can be flexed accordingly.
