We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our Content Creation Tooling Team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our software is delivered with minimal bugs and meets the highest standards of quality. You will be collaborating with the content creation tooling team to identify and log issues, capture relevant details, and implement an efficient testing process. Additionally, you will be instrumental in setting up a robust testing automation pipeline, including an automated build process.
Quality Assurance Testing: Collaborate closely with the content creation tooling team to understand project requirements and functionalities. Conduct thorough testing of software features and functionalities to identify and report defects, ensuring a high-quality product is delivered.
Issue Identification and Logging: Accurately identify and log issues, defects, and enhancement requests in a clear and concise manner. Provide detailed steps to reproduce identified issues, allowing the development team to address them efficiently.
Testing Automation Pipeline: Design, develop, and implement an automated testing process to streamline and expedite the testing phase. Work with the development team to integrate testing automation into the build process, ensuring regular and reliable testing.
Test Case Development: Create comprehensive and effective test cases that cover various scenarios to verify the functionality and performance of the software.
Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to ensure that new updates and changes do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with the content creation tooling team, developers, and other stakeholders to promote a seamless testing process and foster a culture of quality assurance.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance the testing process, tools, and methodologies to achieve optimal efficiency and effectiveness in the QA workflow.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience in QA and software testing.
Experience: Proven experience as a QA Specialist or Software Tester, with a track record of successful software quality assurance.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing test cases, test scripts, and test plans. Familiarity with testing automation tools and frameworks. Experience with version control systems and continuous integration tools.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to identify and report even the smallest issues and discrepancies.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively document issues and interact with team members.
Adaptability: Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

We are a remote team so you can work at a place that suits you. We operate across different timezones so flexibility is built in. We focus on outcomes rather than presenteeism and aim for work/life harmony rather than balance. Kids, cats and dogs often show up on our Google Meet calls and we are fans of walking meetings when you don’t need to be at a screen. Of course we’ll supply you all the IT kit of your choosing. We offer a culture that’s supportive and encourages authenticity with inclusion at the heart of our decision making.
Most importantly, we are united in the mission to provide universal access to free healthcare education and we are unapologetically bold in our aims to transform the sector.
