QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer who has strong technical skills and who knows how to skillfully deal with clients and technological references such as People Manager, Product Owner, Product Designer, Team Leaders, and Developers.

Your impact:

As a QA Engineer, you will report to an Engineering Manager in the Development Team.

Your core responsibilities will be:

We are looking for a person to join our business unit, his/her main task is to develop QA processes in existing development teams, personally implement the necessary automation and train the team to become autonomous in the long term.

Secondly, use the skills to structure the internal QA and automation processes.

Beefree has and maintains strong quality standards in software and digital product development, with this position you will have the opportunity to make your voice heard on how top-class companies should develop and perpetuate quality in their processes.

Requirements:

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Analyze quality specifications and technical documents to provide valuable and timely feedback
• Train the internal team of developers

Technical qualifications:

• Concrete working experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience as a QA tester/engineer in software development
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Reasoning with objectives and motivational skills
• Direct experience of white-box and black-box testing
• Strong experience and proficiency with Cypress automated browser testing framework
• Comfortable in TypeScript/JavaScript

Location & Travel

• Italy: Milan, Cremona or Remote. If you work remotely, we may ask you to join us for in-person sessions from time to time.
• Some travel may be required for onboarding
• Some travel will be required for our yearly team retreat. Between travel and meeting time, the retreat typically requires about a week of your time. We will provide ample notice so that you can plan for it.
