QA Automation Engineer for a Sustainability SaaS

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of scripting and automation, ensuring the quality of the product developed by our squads. In this role, you will focus on comprehensive product testing and create automated scripts to streamline and reduce manual efforts in forthcoming releases.

One Click LCA's innovative carbon accounting and reduction SaaS platform is utilized in over 170 countries and is experiencing rapid growth. We primarily target construction (where we are the global leader) and manufacturing verticals, which are collectively responsible for nearly half of global carbon emissions.

This position is available as a full-time, permanent role and is open to candidates based in India or those capable of working remotely within the IST time zone.

What you will do:
    • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts.
    • Take ownership of testing a feature end-to-end from creating a test plan, and functional testing to automation.
    • Test features meticulously since our software is calculation testing based.
    • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of our automation frameworks utilising Java and TypeScript.
    • Create, manage and maintain manual test cases in TestRail.
    • Identify, document, and track software bugs to ensure resolution.
    • Continually develop your skills to become an integral part of our technical team.
What you need:
    • 1-3 years of experience working with Java and Selenium.
    • Playwright and TypeScript is a significant plus.
    • Fluency in English as it is our official working language.
    • Knowledge of Locust is a significant plus.
