QA Automation Engineer

Camber Creative seeks a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design automation tests for a multi-tier marketing enablement application built with Java Spring Boot, React, and a Greenplum data warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and conducting tests throughout the development phase to ensure the software runs smoothly and meets client needs.

This work is estimated to begin in late June and continue through the end of 2023.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the rest of the team to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Liaise with internal team members and client stakeholders to identify/understand system requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing feedback on product backlog, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, Appium).
• Solid knowledge of scripting and test data management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
