Proposal Analyst

CTI is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Proposal Analyst. As a Proposal Analyst at CTI, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business development efforts by working closely with other team members to prepare and submit proposals for defense and space projects. As a Proposal Analyst, you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a talented team of professionals to develop winning proposals that meet the needs of our clients in the defense and space industry.

 

Responsibilities
  • Manage organization-wide communications related to B&P.
  • Determine organizational training needs and develop curriculum requirements.
  • Maintain the proposal assets and documentation library, developing and executing content refresh strategies.
  • Maintain corporate statistical information necessary for proposal teams to respond to government RFPs.
  • Manage Proposal SharePoint Team sites to maximize collaboration and efficiencies.
  • Create new proposal assets (reference guides, templates, and other materials) that adhere to standards for graphics, format, and style.
  • Manage the B&P process through inception, execution, closeout, and retrospection.
  • Work with management to identify resources to pursue available opportunities.
  • Ensure that proposal timelines are clearly articulated and met through process, organization, and communication.
  • Lead kickoff meetings to align the team properly with the intent, the timeline, and the goals related to the capture of efforts.
  • Lead Lessons Learned postmortem process to capture best practices, requirements, and action items from pursuit teams.

Requirements

Necessary skills and experience

  • Five (5) years' experience in Proposal Management, Proposal Operations, Knowledge Management, Project Management, or Process Improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and able to work with a variety of people at all levels.
  • Understanding of proposal management fundamentals and the full lifecycle of the proposal process.
  • Strong project management skills including creating project plans, managing schedules and timelines, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), execution, and implementation.
  • Proven experience in program analysis or a similar role.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, finance or a related field.
  • The ability to obtain a US security clearance post-start date. U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Experience with knowledge management and content development.
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data sets.
  • Understanding of proposal management fundamentals and the full lifecycle of the proposal process Experience with proposal management software is a plus.
  • Experience with MS Office Proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.
