Due to exciting growth, we are looking for a new Project Manager - Technology to support DSG’s Managing Director of Legal & Technology & the Technology Team to manage technology projects that form part of the organisation’s Technology Strategy. This role relates solely to applications (either built or bought) for business users and customers (e.g. CRM, reservations, websites, mobile applications), it does not encompass IT infrastructure.


No two days are the same in this exciting role but on a typical day you will, support the Managing Director of Legal & Technology by:


  • Managing the day-to-day implementation of the technology strategy
  • Investigating and recommending solutions (where required) in line with the technology strategy
  • Day-to-day management of technology projects including governance, risk management, supplier liaison and communication
  • Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements
  • Managing internal and external resource utilised on technology projects, identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of resource available
  • Designing and implementing a “Project to Business as Usual (BAU) transition” (BAU Transition) process in partnership with the IT and business divisions in respect of training and support of technology eligible for BAU Transition
  • Designing and implementing support frameworks in respect of BAU Transition 
  • Managing relationships with contractors and third-party providers

To be successful within this role, our ideal candidate will:


  • Have previous technology project management experience
  • Have project management qualifications (desirable, not mandatory)
  • Have an interest in technology and/or sport
  • Be self-motivated and proactive, with a "can do" approach and a high level of attention to detail, initiative and persistence.
  • Have outstanding organisational skills with proven ability to manage time and prioritise tasks to deliver when working under pressure.
  • Have an excellent attitude and behaviours.
  • Possess strong communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Be accurate and flexible, can work independently with minimal to no supervision.
  • Be a team player with a track record of building strong, effective working relationships.
