Project Manager

As a Project Manager (Werkstudent:in or Trainee) in Sales Consulting, your objective is to help world-class DACH B2B Startups & Professional Service Firms build & scale sales quickly with our bespoke services. You will work with committed founders investing typically EUR 25’000-50’000 per project with SalesPlaybook to solve their sales challenges

 

This role requires you to be a hands-on professional at the intersection of B2B Startup Sales & strategy/management consulting, creating impact not “paper tigers”.

 

Responsibilites

 

  • You are responsible for scoping and defining OKRs to establish clear objectives and measurable results in our projects, ensuring they're based on our scoped offers. When it comes to onboarding, you will develop and enforce accountability schemes to ensure that every team member is contributing effectively to the project, and you'll handle the technical setups required for team members to collaborate and contribute efficiently. In fact, you will be responsible for ensuring that both internal and external tasks are executed as scheduled, maintaining accountability among all stakeholders involved.

 

  • You will organize and conduct client meetings, including project kick-offs, regular status updates, and phase closing meetings, with a focus on overcoming administrative challenges like scheduling. Handling customer requests promptly at the first level and actively seeking and gathering client feedback and referrals during these meetings will be key to enhancing our service quality and relationships.

 

  • In terms of process standardization and improvement, you are to develop and implement standard operating procedures and service blueprints to streamline our processes, both internal and external. Continually seeking ways to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the services we provide to our clients will be an ongoing responsibility.

 

  • Ensuring service quality is paramount; you will maintain high standards to ensure the team delivers effective value to our clients. Implementing data-driven approaches for service delivery, including client reporting, will support this effort. Additionally, you will assist the team with ad-hoc data analytics requests from the head of delivery, contributing to our strategic planning and informed decision-making process.

Requirements

Must Haves

  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, enabling effective cross-cultural and interdisciplinary communication.
  • You have strong analytical skills and pay close attention to detail, ensuring high-quality outcomes in all your work.
  • You have 1–2 years of project management experience, demonstrating your capability to lead and manage projects successfully.
  • You have experience with automation software like Zapier or similar ones, showcasing your ability to streamline processes efficiently.
  • You have experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools. 
  • You are good at being proactive, not just reactive, anticipating needs and challenges ahead of time.
  • You use client-centric communication approaches with the aim to ideally solve or filter out client issues at the first level.

 

Nice To Haves

  • You have 1 year of experience in B2B or startup sales, enriching your understanding of the sales process and client acquisition.
  • You have a consulting background, providing you with a broad perspective on business challenges and solutions.
  • You have experience with requirements management and analysis, showcasing your ability to understand and articulate client needs and project requirements.
  • You have experience with CRM integrations, CRM reporting, BI analytics, and No-/Low-code tools, and you're familiar with sales outbound engine setups (e.g., Apollo, Expandi, Smartlead), enhancing your ability to analyze and manage client data effectively.
  • You are a pro with any CRM, ideally with HubSpot or Salesforce, demonstrating your skill in managing client relationships and data.
