As the Project Manager, Retail Strategic Initiatives you will support in the enablement of our retail stores, through cross-functional project management. You be responsible for driving key retail projects forward; including defining the timelines, developing and managing the project plan, delivering key areas of work, and working with the team to see progress and unblock challenges along the way.

This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Retail Strategic Initiatives responsible driving and delivering global scalable strategies to attain our business goals. The team is the conduit between the stores and the cross-functional partners, aligning, projects, strategies, to deliver the future to our retail fleet.

If you were the Project Manager, Retail Strategic Initiatives here are some of the core activities you would be doing:- Supporting in setting up the foundation of the project; project governance, defining ways of working, identifying key stakeholders, defining key meeting cadence, identifying key deliverables and timelines
- Creating and end-to-end project plan and enrolling key partners to deliver necessary elements to ensure project success
- Developing comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans and ensuring the right people are in the right conversations
- Developing content and prepping for key project meetings; status meetings, weekly working sessions, SteerCo’s, etc.
- Driving project management reporting across 2023 retail strategic projects
- Working cross-functionally to identify risks, create proactive solutions and report to senior leaders
- Driving and delivering project work for the projects that you are overseeing
- Providing input and guidance for the overarching change management and training strategy for 2023 retail strategic projects
- Accurately assessing the change management required to successful rollout and implement the project
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:- Supporting talent and people related projects such as Workforce Management
- Developing omnichannel enablement projects such as Point of Sale & RFID
- Creating data and reporting
Are you our next Project Manager, Retail Strategic Initiatives?- You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in business, or related field
- You have 5+ years work experience within a retail support function
- You have 3+ years of project management experience and have experience using project management software
- You are able to articulate critical communication to leadership teams, functional departments, retail leaders, and peers
- You have demonstrated high level decision making and can hold people accountable to timelines
- You have strong communication skills and can facilitate cross-functional conversations
- You have a background in change management and training
- You have experience developing training content and writing succinct communications
- You have working knowledge of retail systems and in-store processes
- You are able to step in and take charge with minimum instruction
- You are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- You have a background in change management and training for large-scale projects to cross functional teams
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right

$80,000 - $100,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD $80,000 - CAD $100,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
