Project Manager, Product Management

This position is fully remote and requires candidates to be residing in and authorized to work in the US or Canada. Candidates should be able to reliably work CST hours.

Due to continued product development, we are currently looking for an organized and experienced Project Manager to manage the development roadmap of our gaming peripherals and accessories. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with and managing the timelines of multiple projects simultaneously, as well as the ability to manage both internal and external resources.

This position reports to the Director of Project Management. The person in this role will work most closely with our additional project managers, our product management team, and other internal stakeholders such as operations and design teams. They will also work with multiple external partners including suppliers and manufacturers.

The starting annual salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 USD depending on knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographical location.

• Develop and manage multiple detailed project schedules and work plans simultaneously
• Use project management software on a daily basis to provide regular updates to other team members and stakeholders
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives in the product development timeline, and manage/optimize these resources efficiently
• Work with internal teams, including product management, operations, and design, to coordinate tasks necessary to reach key project milestones
• Work with external suppliers and manufacturers to set deliverables, priorities, and milestones for projects
• Measure each project’s performance to identify areas for improvement, and proactively make suggestions to the Director of Project Management

Requirements

• Located and authorized to work in either the United States or Canada
• Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection
• Professional fluency in English
• 4+ years of experience managing full-cycle projects in a business setting, including forecasting due dates/timelines, managing internal/external resources, and using project management software such as Asana to communicate project statuses/updates
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, especially in high-pressure situations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex problems and ideas into easily understood summaries or calls to action for stakeholders
• Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred, but not required
Experience in a product-based industry or working with hardware is preferred, but not required
