Overview of KaiPod and the Position
KaiPod Learning supports the microschool ecosystem in two different ways.
- We operate learning pods across the country, where students gather at KaiPod Learning Centers, organized in pods of 12, working on a personalized learning curriculum, and benefiting from the guidance of highly qualified Learning Coaches.
- We also partner with entrepreneurial founders who are building microschools in their local communities. Whether launching or operating microschools with diverse models such as outdoor, faith-based, or "gifted" programs, we empower a decentralized network of individuals committed to enriching school choices in their communities.
As a Programs Coordinator, you will play a dual role in supporting our company-operated pods and our partner network. Your contributions will be vital in disseminating best practices learned from our pods to our partners, fostering a thriving educational ecosystem.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support Catalyst Fellows, Microschool Partners, and Learning Coaches with professional development, community building, and one-on-one coaching.
- Create and manage a comprehensive library of training resources - documents and videos - for our Catalyst Fellows, Microschool Partners, and Learning Coaches.
- Oversee the Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment process, ensuring data is organized, analyzed, and presented effectively to all stakeholders.
- Support our Learning Coaches and Partners in monitoring student progress on a variety of virtual curricula.
- Expand KaiPod virtual student clubs, ensuring a diverse range of high-quality options.
- Manage and grow our database of enrichments and curricula options and sharing monthly changes with Catalyst Fellows, Microschool Partners, and Learning Coaches, as appropriate.
- Support daily pod operations by securing substitutes, communicating pod closures, and monitoring parent communications (newsletters, progress reports, learning notes).
- Assist in the development of summer programs through enrichment development, Learning Coach hiring & training, and monitoring weekly programs.
- Interview potential learning coach or teaching candidates on behalf of microschool founders.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- At least three to five years of teaching experience.
- Preferred experience in a school leadership role (coaching, developing, leading teachers).
- Preferred experience in homeschooling or school choice movement.
