Simple Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Program Manager-Cyber to add to our team. 

 
Quick Position Overview: 

  • US Citizenship is required 
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required 
  • Minimum of 10 years' position-related experience is required 
  • Relevant certifications are required (CISM, CISSP, PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agile) 

  

The Role: 

The Program Manager-Cyber at STS will oversee and manage comprehensive cybersecurity programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in agile project management, cybersecurity program oversight, and collaboration using various technological platforms. Success in this position involves leading and coordinating cybersecurity initiatives, managing agile workflows, and ensuring effective program execution. 

  

The Program Manager-Cyber at STS will: 

  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of cybersecurity programs within an agile framework. 
  • Utilize collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Project, Teams, and Azure DevOps board management for effective program oversight. 
  • Lead agile workflow management and ensure efficient task tracking and prioritization. 
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure program milestones are met and cybersecurity standards are maintained. 
  • Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity program management, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. 
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and concise program documentation and reporting. 

  

Education and Experience: 

Required: 

  •   Bachelor’s Degree 
  •   Minimum of 10 years' position-related experience 
  •   Significant expertise in cybersecurity program management 
  •   Experience in agile workflow management and oversight 
  •  Proficiency in using Microsoft Project, Teams, and Azure DevOps board management for collaboration and task tracking 
  •   Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills 
  •   Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  

Required Certifications: 

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) 
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) 
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) 
  • SAFe Agile 

  

Skills: 

  • Certified Agile project management professional with commensurate experience in a technical enterprise setting 
  • Experience tracking tasks across various platforms 
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills 
  • Ability to manage projects within teams 
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and cybersecurity program management

Location: 

  • Maximum telework acceptable, but candidates are required to be located within a 50-mile radius of Washington, DC. 
  • OPM's current policy allows for a maximum of 3 days of telework a week. Policy is subject to change for the life of the contract.
