Professional Services Industry Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Vice President of US Marketing, the person in this role will be a collaborative and confident self-starter with the ability to build a pipeline for HSO’s professional services industry practice through scalable B2B and referral marketing programs.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of developing and managing integrated demand generation campaigns and developing messages that resonate with companies that deliver professional services, including legal, accounting, software/technology consulting, and other consulting firms. They will also have experience cultivating referral leads through partnerships and influencer marketing programs.  

Responsibilities Include:

  • Translate sales goals and value propositions into actionable marketing plans
  • Develop and manage demand generation programs to drive c-level pipeline for designated verticals from start to finish, including planning, creating, executing, evaluating, and reporting. Tactics may include:
    • Email campaigns
    • Virtual and in-person events
    • Blogging
    • Video creation
    • Case study writing
    • Website content development and updates
    • Target list building and maintenance
    • Lead capture and management
  • Develop relationships with influencers and collaborate with them on co-marketing campaigns
  • Monitor, measure, analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to drive MQLs, SQLs and opportunities.
  • Manage marketing budgets for designated verticals
  • Manage social media efforts for designated verticals, including writing and scheduling to generate engagement for campaigns
  • Keep up to date with best practices in the email marketing, including how to optimize emails for deliverability and mobile devices

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience marketing to AEC, consulting, and other professional services firms, ideally for a Microsoft Dynamics partner or a competitive solution provider
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a similar concentration
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Sales to deliver results
  • Experience using CRM and Marketing Automation systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • A strong understanding and passion for demand generation, with a demonstrated track record of owning campaign effectiveness and driving successful results
  • Experience allocating & optimizing spend across tactics
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives with a track record for meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to facilitate and enable collaboration with a desire to cultivate relationships
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A knack for learning and using a myriad of marketing applications
