Job Description

NBCUniversal’s Enterprise Product Team builds products that provide essential capabilities to organizations throughout NBCUniversal. In this role, you will support the Ad Sales business’s One Platform strategy, a multi-year vision to reimagine how publishers and advertisers transact. We are looking for a Product Specialist to assist with key initiatives in the Unified Traffic space related to TV scheduling, ad placement, and distribution.

As part of the Unified Traffic product team, you will be responsible for delivering a reimaged TV Traffic Log focusing on workflow automation through system integrations and business process changes. You will assist with requirements gathering and definition, ensure a healthy backlog, and help drive overall delivery across engineering, product, and strategy teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Assist in defining the product vision, strategy, and success metrics for initiatives in the Unified Traffic space.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to assist in defining and prioritizing the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Support business leads by providing insights into technical tradeoffs to maximize immediate value.
  • Create clear, detailed user stories in JIRA, capturing business context and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to iterate and improve product features.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations or reports to stakeholders on product updates, metrics, and performance.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in product management or a related project management role.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for project management and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders across different teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions within established deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and SDLC.
  • Familiarity with the media marketplace or experience within an Ad Tech organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Direct exposure to Ad Sales Technology, particularly in TV planning and trafficking.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising, ad tech platforms, or related industries.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting with distributed teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • General technical knowledge, including API design, systems integration, CI/CD, release planning, and cloud infrastructure.

Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
