Roadie, a UPS Company, is a crowdsourced delivery platform. Founded in 2014, Roadie works with consumers, small businesses and enterprises to enable scheduled, same-day and urgent delivery in passenger vehicles across the U.S. With more than 200,000 drivers nationwide, Roadie reaches more than 20,000 zip codes – the largest local same-day delivery network in the nation.
Our Product team is hyper-focused on creating products that solve real-world problems in the crowdsourced delivery space. We are looking for a Product Owner to develop and execute on a product roadmap with a focus on optimizing the driver’s support experience. Primary areas will be around building features to prevent issues, improve the UX while communicating with our Support team, and enable drivers to resolve issues on their own. In partnership with cross-functional teams, you will bring an evidence-based approach to understand current user behaviors, identify needs, and define and launch solutions that create rapid value for our users and Roadie alike.
What You’ll Do
- Working closely with the Product Manager of the Driver Experience to identify goals, direction, and execution
- Communicating regularly with internal stakeholders to understand their goals and help them identify root problems
- Drive user research to understand the needs of our drivers, gather competitor insights to inform context and expectations, and validate the features you release to ensure success
- Synthesize insights into a strong product direction and immerse yourself within the agile development team to execute your vision
- Scope, plan and deliver an actionable product backlog, prioritize stories, and ship high-quality features weekly
- Leading projects end-to-end, partner cross-functionally to monitor user adoption, engagement, and satisfaction metrics
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in the product development life cycle
- Experience regularly shipping features and maintaining a mature product
- Experience collaborating with UX, development, and QA teams in an agile environment
- Empathy and an insatiable curiosity for the user experience, driven to solve customer needs
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, using data to drive decision-making
- Thrive in environments where you are balancing different perspectives and competing priorities
