About the role:
The Product Operations team sits within the Product function at Altruistiq, and has a broad remit to optimize the intersection of product, design, and the rest of the business. The goal of Product Ops is to streamline and improve the wider product team’s work so there is a more consistent approach to product development and improve the various facets of what it takes to run a successful product team. This will drive improved collaboration, better cross-functional alignment and ultimately more likelihood of meeting our company goals.
A Product Operations Analyst would work closely with product and design to optimise delivery and research processes, deliver data and KPIs to drive product insights and drive towards best practices.
This role is strategic for us because it will be core to unlocking product development efficiencies at the business scales. There is a lot of headroom for growth in the role, either stepping towards management roles for Product Operations, or stepping towards Product Management.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver Business and Data Insights
- Ensure our analytics setup is fit for purpose and allows us to understand the value of features and products we are launching.
- Provide timely insights and reports to product management, research and design on the success of and learnings from new feature releases.
- Empowers the team to make strategic decisions quickly.
- Deliver Customer and Market Insights
- Ensure our research database is well-maintained and individual UX research projects can run smoothly.
- Maintain customer segments, identify research candidates, and manage the organisation of research sessions
- Be the gel between teams, and ensure there are no overlaps and duplication of effort across teams.
- Channel feedback from Sales, Marketing and Customer teams to Product through effective research and reporting processes
- Own competitor analysis, and ensure that our understanding of macro and competitive trends is kept up to date.
- Deliver engaging Product Communications
- Make sure that internal and external support documentation is written and published
- Maintain our internal Product Wiki, and ensure contributors follow process
- Manage the delivery of our external product communications, such as our monthly release newsletters, and gather feedback from these channels.
About you:
We envisage the following skills and experiences could serve you well in this role
Technical expertise
- General analytical knowledge and software experience (eg Excel, Tableau, etc)
- Nice to have: Knowledge of specialised product analytical tools (eg Mixpanel, GA, etc)
- Nice to have: SQL knowledge
Process management and relationship building
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in multiple teams, and build strong rapport across all these stakeholders
- Strong process and time management skills, able to manage multiple tasks and relationships at once.
Entrepreneurial spirit
- A natural "go-getter", keen to identify opportunities and trial solutions to improve our research and product
- A willing problem-solver, highly adaptable to stakeholders, with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
- A keen learner with the ability to adapt to new ways of working, and an interest to work in the tech sector.
Remuneration and rewards package:
Remuneration will be determined depending on experience, but we offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package to all our team. Our salary band for this role is £ - k, depending on experience
