Product Designer

Skedda is a leading global space management and hybrid work platform, serving over 12,000 customers and nearly two million users, including Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, and Krispy Kreme. Today, the product serves customers with functionality including floor plan visualizations, space booking, management, utilization reports and analytics, as well as integrations with key workplace tools like Microsoft365 and Google Workspace, and has won awards from G2Crowd, Capterra, and SoftwareAdvice.

Role overview You will be the first full time designer on the team reporting directly to the SVP of Product. This will be an exciting, high impact role with a lot of potential for growth. Day to day responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and other departments throughout the full product development lifecycle.
  • Help lead and conduct generative and evaluative user research to inform our prioritization and design decisions.
  • Create low fidelity concepts and wireframes to help us explore and rapidly iterate on potential solutions.
  • Deliver high quality designs and specs to clearly communicate design requirements to the engineering team.
  • Help create and maintain our design system and core components to maintain a consistent experience.

About you

  • You’re a strong verbal and written communicator
  • You’re a systems thinker who can help bring clarity to complex ideas
  • You keep customer needs top of mind during your design and decision making process
  • You can balance a pragmatic problem solving approach with a strong attention to detail
  • You welcome feedback to improve your skills and work
  • You take initiative and work with a healthy sense of urgency

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a UX or Product Design role, ideally working on a modern web app with an emphasis on responsive design
  • Strong proficiency with Figma
  • Firsthand experience conducting user research
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
  • Nice to have
  • Technical proficiency with HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks
  • Comfortable with analytics tools and basic data analysis

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, benefits package, and paid time off
  • Flexible schedule
  • Your choice of laptop
  • Creative and collaborative work environment
  • Direct exposure to the leadership team across departments
  • Be empowered to leave a significant mark on the product and the customers
