Power Management Design Verification Engineer

Join Tenstorrent to work on Power Management microarchitecture and design verification. The role will require knowledge and experience in Power Management features, verification tools & strategies and post silicon debug experience.

This role is based out of Austin, TX, Santa Clara, CA, US remote or UK remote. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define Power Management verification strategy at various design hierarchies – Core, CPU Chiplets and SOC level.
  • Develop and execute Power Management test-plan using pre-silicon and emulation platforms.
  • Define, track, and meet coverage goals for HW and FW design components.
  • Define post-silicon validation strategy, including bring-up plans, content development and debug hooks.
  • Port Power Management test content across emulation and silicon platforms.

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • BS/MS/PhD in EE/ECE/CE/CS with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience with Power Management features for x86, ARM or RISCV based CPUs or SOCs.
  • Expertise in developing test-plans, verification components (BFMs, transactors, and checkers), and System Verilog/assembly-based stimuli.
  • Experience in using emulation platform to verify Power Management features and HW-FW interactions.
  • Experience in silicon bring-up, UPF and assertion development is desired.
  • Strong problem solving and debug skills across various levels of design hierarchies.

 

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
