Power BI Developer

Position Name: Power BI Developer 
Reports to: Cloud Engineering Team Lead  
Location/Type: Full-time Remote

As the Cloud Reporting Engineer, you will be focused on Azure SQL Data Management and data visualization through various reporting tools.  You will be tasked with working directly with internal requestors and Cloud Engineers to collect, review, and visualize various datasets.  

Responsibilities:  

• Work with Managers and requestors to determine reporting requirements and priorities  
• Develop dynamic reporting primarily in PowerBI infrastructures  
• Assist with MS SQL Azure database administration and management  
• Identify potential obstacles and suggest operational and security improvements  

• Manage reporting process from initial request, through data collection, and on to visualization.  

Requirements:  

• Managed Services experience   
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required   

• Very organized with excellent communication skills   
• Experience with MS SQL, MySQL, or related databases   
• At least 2 years of experience with PowerBI reporting development  
• At least 2 years of experience with PowerBI infrastructure management  

  
Desirable Qualities:  

• Prior experience reporting across multiple tenants a plus  
• Excellent communication skills  
• Experience deploying PowerBI infrastructure  
• Brightgauge Reporting development  
• Experience with PoweShell development
