In order to support our rapid growth, we are hiring for a People Operations Specialist to support our growing Philippines team! As the People Operations Specialist for our Philippines Team, you will be the champion of our culture, dedicated to nurturing a supportive and engaging atmosphere. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our people operations processes with our Philippines team, from recruiting and onboarding to performance management and team engagement. Your efforts will ensure our team members in the Philippines feel valued, supported, and motivated to contribute to our global teams collective success.
🎏 What you'll own
Recruiting: Oversee the recruitment process to attract top talent, coordinating with hiring managers, management of recruitment pipeline, and ensuring a smooth hiring experience.
Onboarding: Support and oversee onboarding program for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and well-integrated into the team.
Performance Management Support: Act as a liaison between Advisory Managers and team members in the Philippines to address and support performance concerns, facilitating effective communication and action plans.
Team Engagement: Drive engagement initiatives, including participation in the fun committee, planning and organizing team meetings, and activities that foster a strong team spirit.
Event Planning: Coordinate and plan events such as small group offsites and the annual Philippines offsite, enhancing team collaboration and providing opportunities for professional growth and relaxation.
Offboarding: Manage the offboarding process, conducting exit interviews to gather insights and improve retention strategies.
Feedback and Recommendations: Provide valuable feedback and recommendations to the leadership team on best practices, benefits, and strategies tailored to our team in the Philippines, promoting continuous improvement.

You worked in a fast-growing, fully-distributed startup with employees in multiple countries.
You owned a number of people projects from end-to-end.
You have actively recruited for a variety of different roles and skill levels.
You worked directly with multiple senior stakeholders to design and complete those projects.
You were responsible for day-to-day engagement of the team (e.g. events, activities), performance management, and supporting professional development activities.

3+ year of experience in HR and Recruiting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced remote environment.
Willing to work across variety of different time zones, with some US time zone overlap.
Experience with Rippling, Notion, Slack, and Google Suite.
