Payments Business Development

Your job will be very focused on analyzing data we collect to produce actionable recommendations that will optimize our revenue while keeping fraud levels under control. You will also help in obtaining merchant accounts for our different verticals in a smooth way, you will actively communicate with external partners and providers and will work closely with the finance department helping in their day-to-day activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an interest for business development matters and an outstanding ability to work on different tasks without losing focus. You should carefully think about how to run your analysis and be eager to uncover hidden patterns..

Responsibilities

You’re our perfect candidate if you:

  • Identify the most promising merchants and prospects that will help us grow a pipeline across various verticals.
  • Sell our cross-borders payment and fraud solutions and services to eCommerce merchants and possible PSP partners through cold calling, networking, fairs etc.
  • Help new merchants evaluate and handle detailed questions about our product capabilities.
  • Prepare thorough presentations and proposals for prospective merchants.
  • Orchestrate the entire Sales process and act as the main point of contact for merchants and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain a solid, well-organized portfolio and nurture key accounts.
  • Partner with other Sales Representatives to share best practices, key business insights and industry trends.

Requirements

Your expertise in a nutshell:

  • 1 - 3 years Sales experience in the Payments industry.
  • Solid network of potential prospects and partners.
  • Tech-savvy, with a passion for Technology.
  • Solid business acumen and awareness of financial factors.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation skills and techniques.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively.
  • Advance in Spanish and English, any additional language appreciated.
    • Superior oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
    • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent self-motivation and proactivity
    • Data driven decision taken
    • Technologic background/knowledge will be highly appreciated
    • Working closely with internal and external merchants to ensure an effective alignment with business and clients' needs
    • Based on objectives driven, prioritization and planification of workload is important
    • Well organized, flexible and agile person.
