We have an immediate need for an experienced Oracle Middleware Technical Solutions Architect for 3rd Party Support.  

Responsibilities 

  • This position is considered level 3/4 support.
  • It is fully remote, but the candidate must be based in the UK or Ireland.
  • Ideally we are looking for a contractor, but will consider permanent employment for the right candidate.
  • Occasional after-hours, weekends, and holidays support for urgent customer issues. 
  • Excellent customer focus and communication, friendly interaction, and passion to help customers with their software issues. 
  • Troubleshooting customer issues in an environment where online and remotely connected to the customer’s systems. 
  • Driving customer satisfaction by tracking issues from start to closure, minimizing ageing cases. 

Skill Requirements

  • Experience in EBS 12.1 & 12.2 as Apps DBA, including Cloning, Patching and EBS Migration, troubleshooting Concurrent Manager and Workflow Issue (10+ years)
  • Experience with Oracle WebLogic (10+ years)
  • Experience with troubleshooting Oracle SOA, BPM, HTTP Server
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot middleware systems/components.
  • Oracle RAC / Clusterware: configuration, setup, tuning, troubleshooting 
  • Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Deep-dive troubleshooting, Expertise in - Optimizing data filtering, i/o bottlenecks.
  • Oracle backup/Recovery – RMAN 
  • Migration /Upgrade: Db migrations, OEM Migrations, installation/patching
  • It will be advantageous, but not essential, to also have the following skills: 
    • SME to support all different components of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 
    • Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
    • Oracle Business Intelligence and OBI Apps Development and System Administration (10+ years)
    • Admin Experience with Oracle Customer Hub, Webcenter
