Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently looking for an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer that will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, ensure scalability, and enhance security across our cloud platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with the latest OCI technologies and drive innovation within our organization.


How the day by day looks like in this job?

  • Design, deploy, and manage OCI (OCI Data Flow, OCI Integrator, OCI Object Storage, OCI DevOps, OCI Native) environments to support our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with OCI services.
  • Implement automation strategies to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring processes.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor OCI resources for performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and capacity planning.
  • Work with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues and optimize service delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in cloud infrastructure.


    For this specific job we need people with:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
    • Strong understanding of OCI services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Identity & Access Management.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
    • Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
    • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
    • Fluent in English
    • Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
