Operations Associate

Able is seeking a full-time permanent Operations Associate to join our team. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to deliver an exceptional team member experience by supporting the virtual workplace, people, and financial-related operations. You thrive off of autonomy, believe no job is too big or too small, and put thought into everything you do. You should anticipate and deliver virtual environment changes and experiences that will delight and surprise the team.

Your day-to-day

Reporting to the Director of Financial Operations, this role’s day-to-day includes:

  • Design and manage a comfortable experience in our virtual office environment
  • Manage incoming internal and external communications
  • Lead the facilitation of North and South American team events and team member perks
  • Collect and process new hire information and shape the future of new employees globally through onboarding
  • Manage and ship physical equipment for team member onboarding and offboarding
  • Serve as the first point of contact for our team members in our Operations help desk ticketing system
  • Maintain our team member handbook with relevant policies and documents, and bring zest to our employee resources
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and practice good judgment when faced with sensitive situations
  • Provide administrative support with vendor contracts
  • Support the Operations team with special ad-hoc projects as needed (i.e. wellness program perks, organizing training and events, company communication, etc.)
  • Other duties as required
What you bring
  • At least three (3) years of experience in People/Workplace Operations and the drive to continue learning, growing, and contributing to the function
  • Experience working within the virtual setting and supporting a global team is an asset
  • Detail-oriented and able to work on different tasks while ensuring they are completed in a timely manner
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and work autonomously 
  • Experience with US compliance labor laws is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Legal entitlement to work in the United States or Canada

This position is 100% remote within the United States or Canada.

The base salary range for this position for candidates residing within the U.S. is $58,000 to $63,000 USD.  

Salary offered will take into consideration the actual salary ranges for current employees, the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications, the level of specialization the role requires, budgetary considerations, the market demand for the role, and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based.
