👀 Sounds great right? What will you be doing?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Business Director to join our dynamic sales team. As a New Business Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and maintaining key client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. This is a critical role that demands a strategic approach, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial technology products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with Moneyhub's overall business goals. Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients to expand our customer base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders. Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and upsell additional products and services.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities. Work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets to drive revenue growth.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Moneyhub's products and services. Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to potential clients.
  • Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Conduct persuasive sales presentations to prospects, addressing their specific requirements and showcasing how Moneyhub's solutions can meet their needs. Negotiate contract terms and close deals to secure new business.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience and ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to the management team to enhance Moneyhub's competitive advantage.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts. Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management review.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have the following experience:

 

  • A highly experienced sales / growth professional, with demonstrable experience in the financial services and/or open banking sector. This individual is a hunter and gatherer in nature and experienced in approaching all size organisations from smaller Fintechs to enterprise organisations at c-suite and senior level management level. Ability to build & retain relationships by relevant and purposeful communication strategies.
  • Expertise in negotiation at enterprise level is a must, with commercial experience when managing complex and long sales cycles.
  • Comfortable with taking the sales through the entire lifecycle from initial MQL to contract signature. The marketing strategy enables this role to act upon insights and this person is to be proactive in the sales activity, attending events, round table discussions, presenting, webinars, and general PR activity.
  • Solution sales experience in the Financial Services and/or Open Banking market is advantageous, ability to problem solve and help customers and prospects understand the ‘art of the possible’. Experience in solution sales and problem solving is critical.
  • The sales cycles can be complex, and can include RFPs and due diligence processes that need a close eye and motivational and driven attitude.
  • Market awareness and lead generation with a network within the open banking and/or financial services/telco sector would be beneficial - someone who is well connected in the market which will lead in to bring new customers and contacts to the table.
  • Strong organisational skills to ensure operational activities are done on time and as per the request of the LoB ways of working. Requires attention to detail on all forecasting capability. Salesforce experience in creating reports, dashboards and general operational activity is also advantageous. Continuously ensure key records are up to date to provide the wider business with accurate and on time reporting is critical for the MD to be able to manage the LoB effectively.
  • Experience in managing a sales team and leadership skills would be useful.
  • Outcomes driven, focused on the delivery of the objectives set.
