Netsuite Solution Architect

As a NetSuite Solution Architect on the Neocol Delivery Team, you will be responsible for leading projects through requirements gathering, solution design, build and deployment of the final solution for our subscription based clients. You will drive developing complex designs, helping our clients make architectural decisions, and guiding them through the development and adoption of their new system.

• Deep dive into business process needs and requirements, identifying areas of key complexity and expanding on those
• Define project scope and identify/manage “scope creep”
• Build client confidence in the solution as it is developed and provide guidance to clients around how to effectively use and adopt the solution
• Facilitate solution demonstrations (sprint and final demo’s) efficiently
• Assist technical resources in solution design, development, and deployment during the lifecycle of the project
• Ensure the solution is able to meet long-term goals for the client in regards to scalability and stability of the solution
• Guide customers towards best practices as much as possible for the solution they are developing
• Communicate technical details effectively to stakeholders and project team members, potentially with limited technical knowledge
• Provide mentorship to resources on the Neocol team to help them grow and develop in their role
• Develop code specifications for developers to use in the event of needing deeper customization than out of the box functionality
• Effectively communicate deadline risks and timeline shifts to the wider project team
• Provide general technical leadership and guidance to the wider project team
• Develop and customize NetSuite workflows, SuiteScripts, and SuiteTalk integrations to meet business requirements, with a strong focus on the technology and subscription billing industry.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements for system enhancements and translate into technical design and build.
• Design and implement NetSuite customizations, including forms, fields, records, and dashboards 
• Perform testing and debugging of NetSuite scripts and integrations to ensure accurate and efficient system performance.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a technical role focusing on NetSuite
• Experience in at least three medium to large-scale full-lifecycle NetSuite implementations as a Solution Architect
• Experience in configuring and utilizing Advanced Accounting & Finance functionality including Multi-Book
• Experience in ARM (Advanced Revenue Management) configuring items, revenue object generation and reporting
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a NetSuite Developer, with a strong focus on the Order to Cash flow
• Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 and SuiteTalk for NetSuite customization and integration.
• Extensive experience developing and maintaining SuiteScript workflows, User Event scripts, Suitelets, and RESTlets
• In-depth knowledge of SuiteBuilder and SuiteFlow for customizing forms, fields, records, and workflows, particularly
• Must be highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize while simultaneously working both collaboratively as well as independently.
• Ability to understand varying client needs and respond flexibly and creatively, working with internal resources to recommend and implement the highest ROI for our clients
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical resources.
• Comfortable analyzing data and identifying opportunities to drive meaningful standardization of data and processes regionally and/or globally.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.
• Agile, and can work well in environments where objectives and priorities are reviewed and assessed regularly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related fields 
• NetSuite ERP Consultant and/or NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Certifications preferred
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or CFA is an added advantage
• Experience with Subscription Based Industry
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ or Billing
• Experience using Jira, Slack, Google Suite & LucidChart
• Strong Excel capabilities
