.NET Developer

ClientSolv Technologies is an IT solution firm with over a decade of experience serving Fortune 1000 companies, public sector and small to medium sized companies. We are seeking a .NET Developer with Angular and Node experience for a 12 month contract. This 12-month contract will mostly work remotely from anywhere within the U.S.  There may be associated travel 2 times per year to the midwest.  

In this role, you will be responsible for:  

• Build either front-end applications or back-end APIs for consumption by front-end technologies and other applications
• Produce high-quality, object-oriented code, understanding service oriented architecture.
• Work with QA to define test cases and validate results.
• Work within the development standard processes for the department.
• Conduct code reviews, and peer reviews, and mentor to junior developers.
• Participate in project team Agile ceremonies (standup, backlog grooming, sprint planning, showcase, retrospectives)
• Work with other development team members, business analysts/product owners, and scrum masters to build solutions in an efficient manner.
• Provide input into the development and architectural design process for building software.
• Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal, to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Provide critical thought input into the development process and requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience as an engineer in an enterprise environment
• College degree from a 4 year university or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working within an SDLC in an Agile environment is required
• Experience with .NET, Angular, and Node is required
• Familiar with multiple current and legacy application development platforms, which could include:  SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, SqlServer, Oracle .NET Core, LINQ, Entity Framework, classic asp, asp.net, VB, RESTful API Services, Node.js, Angular.js, Vue.js, and other front-end technologies and PHP
• Familiarity with source code repository management, task and workflow management tools (GitHub, Jira, Bitbucket, etc). 
• Understanding of security in application development principles and best practices

Nice to have:

• Prior experience with Azure DevOps/VSTS a plus.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies.
• Familiar with Platform as a Service concepts
• Familiarity with a government environment is a plus.
